1086 – Church History in Acts ~ (Elective)

Focus on the development of the church after the ascension of Jesus Christ. Students will probe

information about the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, and the spreading of the Gospel

from Jerusalem, Judah, Samaria, and throughout the known world. The prominence of Peter and Paul will

be highlighted.

Teach on the fundamental purpose, principles, and power of prayer. Understand prayer as the channel of communication of the believer to the Father.

8050 – A New Look at the Singles Ministry – (Elective)

Explore ways that the church can minister to singles. Introduce the students to the concept of singles

ministry, with emphases placed on the employment of gifts, social issues, contemporary concerns, and the full integration of singles into the total program of the church.

Introduce students to the mechanics of speaking to the deaf using American Sign Language (ASL).
